Directions and parking

Approach by car

Coming from the highway, stay in the left lane.

Before the Festspielhaus turn left - direction Therme-Gaggenau. Follow Leopoldstraße and take the second right after the tunnel.

You drive straight ahead along Rotenbachtalstraße. In Sophienstraße you turn right between Hotel Quellenhof and Römerhof into Bäderstraße, a traffic-calmed zone (there is also a Hotel am Markt sign) - before Friedrichsbad turn left, up Steinstraße and then you are at Marktplatz. You will find our house on the right side.

Approach by train

If you arrive by train, take bus line 201 from the train station in the direction of the city center. It runs regularly every 5 to 10 minutes. You leave the bus at Leopoldsplatz. Cross the street in the direction of "van Laak". Then walk straight on until you come to a large staircase with a monument to Reichskanzler Otto Fürst von Bismarck, which you can't miss. You go up the stairs, at the top of the square next to the church is the hotel.

From Monday to Friday during office hours you can enter the town hall at the beginning of the stairs. Pass the Citizen's Office, there is an elevator at the end of the hall. You will go to the 4th floor and get to the courtyard of the town hall. Opposite is our hotel.

LOCATION

Hotel am Markt is located in the center above the pedestrian zone. Right next to us is the collegiate church and the town hall. The Friedrichsbad and the Caracalla Therme are in the immediate vicinity.

PARKING

We have a limited number of parking spaces directly at the hotel, but we do not reserve them in advance. They are allocated according to availability upon arrival. Cost: 10.- Euro per day. 

Otherwise, there are within walking distance at the New Castle, public free parking in Schloßstrasse. Since this parking lot is on the way to the hotel, you can park directly there if you travel light. It saves you the journey through the traffic-calmed down zone. It will take you about 5-10 minutes to walk to our hotel. On the way, right next to the castle there is a great ( beautiful ) viewing platform, which gives you a first wonderful ( inviting ) panoramic view over the roofs of Baden-Baden.

The Vincenti Parkgarage is 5 minutes away from us and offers covered and guarded parking for a daily rate of 20 Euro, two days for 33 Euro.

To find us, it is best to enter Steinstraße into the navigation system. If you follow the street, you will find us on the right side. If there is no free space in front of the house, you can unload your luggage and then drive to the garage or to the castle.
